I am a retired biology teacher from Jamestown NY. I reside there with my wife, Sonja.
I grew up exploring the hills of Pennsylvania. My father was employed outdoors in the oil fields and as a child, I took advantage of every opportunity to go with him to work and spend time in the woods. It was during those years that I developed a great appreciation of nature.
I am captivated by wildlife behavior and continue to learn each time I am in the field with my camera. I also enjoy traveling and photographing God's beautiful landscapes, whenever there is an opportunity. Sonja also enjoys traveling and occasionally assists me on photography trips.
I have been interested in nature photography for much of my adult life, but have pursued it with a passion in recent years. Equipment consists of Canon digital SLR cameras and Canon lenses. Several of my photographs have been published in magazines and calendars.
